Neoclassical Meets Modern: A Neapoli Law Office Renovation.

This 70 square meter commercial renovation project transformed a ground floor apartment in a 1960s building into a modern, functional law office in the vibrant Neapoli neighborhood of Athens, Greece. The design concept by Despoina Sotiriou Architecture, aimed to create a professional yet welcoming workspace that reflected the client's legal expertise while incorporating elements of classic Greek architecture. To achieve this balance, the renovation incorporated neoclassical architectural elements. However, these traditional features were reinterpreted using more affordable materials, to reduce overall construction costs without compromising the desired aesthetic. The interior was designed with an open-plan layout to foster collaboration and communication among the legal team. Built-in bookshelves and storage units were crafted to maximize storage space and provide a clean, organized look. Large windows were installed to bring in ample natural light and create a bright, airy working environment. A neutral color palette was used to create a timeless and sophisticated ambiance.
